Oh Dear Alternative: SensaCat
Oh Dear is the best website monitor in this list. The question is whether your failures are shaped like websites.
SensaCat is the alternative when your silent failures are not attached to a website, such as expiring API keys or multi-step processes spanning several services. For monitoring actual websites, Oh Dear is better than us and it is not close.
Oh Dear's pricing and feature details below are from ohdear.app, read September 2026.
What Oh Dear does well
Every plan includes every feature. Uptime, SSL certificates, broken-link crawling, mixed content, Lighthouse, DNS, sitemap, domain expiry, scheduled tasks, ping and TCP ports all come switched on from the first site, with unlimited users and unlimited status pages.
That last part matters more than it sounds. Unlimited users on every plan means an agency is never buying seats, and no feature is held back for an enterprise tier. The only variable is how many sites you watch.
The Laravel integration is unmatched. Install spatie/laravel-schedule-monitor and every scheduled task in your kernel gets a monitor automatically. Nothing else in this category comes close to that.
The gap: everything is scoped to a site
Oh Dear prices per site, from around EUR 15 a month for two sites, and there is no free tier, just a 10-day trial with no credit card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The deeper constraint is architectural rather than commercial. Oh Dear's model is a website and the things attached to it. If the thing about to break is an OAuth token for a third-party API, there is no site to hang it on.
There is no credential or API-key expiry tracking. Scheduled-task monitoring tells you a job ran, but there is no correlation of a business process across steps for a specific order or user ID.

Who should stay on Oh Dear
Stay if you run websites, especially Laravel ones, and especially if you run several for clients. The breadth per site is excellent, the pricing is honest, and the schedule-monitor package removes work you would otherwise do by hand.
Switch, or more realistically run both, if a meaningful share of your risk lives outside any website. An expiring payment-provider key and a checkout flow that stalls at step three are not website problems, and a per-site tool has nowhere to put them.
